Concrete Canvas Ltd was founded in August 2005 to develop and commercialise Concrete Canvas Shelters and Concrete Cloth technologies. In April 2006 the company secured first round funding through a combination of private finance and a DTI Research and Development Grant. In July 2007, we secured second round funding through a combination of private investment and a Welsh Assembly RSA grant. The company is setting up a volume production facility in Wales to manufacture Concrete Cloth and Concrete Canvas Shelters. Concrete Canvas is the invention of the two company founders, Peter Brewin and William Crawford who have collaborated on multiple award winning projects over the past 4 years. They have since been joined by Phillip Greer, who has been Design Engineer at the company since 2006.
